I had an unnoticed hydraulic leak on my backhoe. I dropped a little under a quart of fluid on a spot about the size of a serving platter. Any suggestions for how to clean this up and save the turf?

Use some dish detergent and was the turf several times. Flood with water!

Nothing short of digging it up has worked for me. Every time it rains the oil will rise to the surface and kill any grass that's there. Dig the dirt down 4 to 5 inches and fill back in with clean dirt and reseed.

Yep....Dig it out PLUS some, and replace.
