I have an ASV track skid steer. The bucket curl cylinders and also the up and down cylinders start to float when I use the bucket for grading or any time there is not much travel in the cylinders for an extended period of time. If I cycle the cylinders all the way up and all the way down the float problem will stop for a while but then returns again after a period of time. Does anyone have any ideas?

not to be smart but if you continually push the boom control foreward it goes into float. my asv the boom/bucket locks and will only move a few inches at a time. possibly n the control

I thought the float might have something to do with it but the problem is also with the bucket curl.

Sounds like a sticky float valve.
