hydro-seeding price in ohio, cinn., dayton area

    i have been charging .06 to .08 per sq. ft. i was told that was low.

    I agree we all should be getting more per s.f. than .06 to .08.

    There are instances where you can get a lot more. One of those instances is being a small job and/or repair 'specialist'....to residential consumers.

    I run a 600 gallon Finn and my rate as a subcontractor is .075

    This is for 2000 lb/acre, level to gently rolling terrain.

    Over the phone quotes are always .085 and up, depending on what I feel I can get away with.

    In my view it is imperative to only offer one level of quality - top notch. I won't get into a bidding war and if I can't get my $$$ the machine stays in the barn.

    Thanks, Do you also lay sod. I need some help on pricing. Since you are in K.Y. That is close to me. I dont want to be the low bidder or the high.

    You know the sad fact is that in every market, there's someone who will work for a case of beer and cigarette money. The key is to differentiate yourself from other service providers.

    Sod work. Yes, I have done it but not extensively enough to offer any constructive advice. Hang around though, I'm sure somebody will chime in with sodding rates.

    I did a big job for Rumkee Waste last year. I told them .12 and they jumped on it. This is the 2 year in a row i have worked for them, I still think that is cheap. I could be wrong. I worked in Florence for tru green. Thanks Ed

    Are you asking for just the hydro seeding price or for prep and seeding?

    Hello for hdro I charge between 65c and 85c, and $40.00 vist fee for the small jobs, depends on how big the job is.
    Sod I charge $1.35 per Sq Ft Layed on Preped Ground
