200 Hours???? Are you mowing razor blades? Wow that stinks.

I hope I get more than that on mine.

Do you do a lot of turning on pavement? I have a Bunton hydro 52" with 6.50x15 Carlisle "Multi-trac" tires. They have over 600 hours on them, and show hardly any wear.

I'm beginning to wonder if he meant to say 2000 hours.

I only got about 200 hours off of my 1999 toro z master before they had becomes smooth in some spots. The tread that came on the 99's werent deep to begin with....

Yes I meant 200 hrs. They didnt look like any mean tires when I bought them. I do some turning on driveways but little driving on paved roads or gravel roads. Mainly from lawn to trailer across the street.

  7. Mine get trashed before they wear out.

To many cut's plug, patches, and leaks to much Slime.

    I had a few sets go 1500 +/- hours.

And we try to turn on hard surfaces as much as possable.

That is very discouraging. I only have gear drives experience but 200 hrs on a set of tires is awful. Do you keep them over inflated by chance?

No I kind of keep them inbetween not over inflated and not under inflated. Its basically close to what the recomended rate is. The wear is very even across the tire.

you're wearing out a set of tires in five weeks or less?

you go through five or more sets of tires in a season?

    now I know I can't afford a hydro!:(
