I finally got rid of the old Bunton, and grabbed a 52" zero turn hydro scag, and proslide. Do you really turn the power all the way up while running the blades?, if so do you turn the power up before or after turning the blades on?
and how do you do a zero turn?, I couldn't figure it out, I'm so used to just pulling the machine backwards manually.

Blades should be turned on about 1/4 throttle and then wide open. As far as turning goes if you do zero turns you are going to ruin a lot of lawns. make wide turns or a 3-point.
