Your parents pay half for everything?!?!

    Jeez...your spoiled.

My parents may forward me one or two hundred here or there, but not that much. And I end up paying them back.

My parents aren't giving me a dime for the Toro Z I'm buying next year.

Yard Boys- How are things working out with your friend? I just asking because i am in the middle of buying out my old partner (disagreeing on how things should be done). I was told not to go the whole partnership way. But hey if things work out for you thats awsome.

I'm 15 and here is my equiptment list -

Snapper 38" 18hp Z....This is the only thing I paid for completly myself.
Shindiawa 22F HomePro Trimmer (Dad paid half...part of b-day present...$90)

    Stuff my Dad has bought
(All of the 2-cycle stuff we got used for a total of $600)

    RedMax BC225 Trimmer
    RedMax EB7001RH Blower
Sthil KM-110 Split-boom w/ Hedge Trimmer, Edger, Pole Pruner, and Trimmer attachments.

Craftsman 21" Push Mower w/ 6.5 Briggs motor.
4x8 Utility Trailer w/ Trimmer rack. (I paid 4 the rack)

For my birthday present My dad is getting my uncle to make a 6x14 and 1/2 ft dovetail trailer for me. I'll post pics when I can.

Don't let these guys on here make you feel bad for not paying for everything you use. It does take a hit to your pride, it makes you think you don't really own the business, I know all about it. But your parents know what is best.

I do want to pay for the next piece (and every other piece after that) of equiptment I buy though.

Thats what kind of equipment I started with when I was 12, now that I am all grown up I have stayed in this line of work and own a very successful lawn and landscape company that employs 4 people including my self.

I still think its great that kids still want to mow lawns I believe its good for you. If you parents paid for you stuff thats ok just pay them back. Everybody can say you spoiled but adults go out and get loans when they start does that mean they are spoiled too? I believe your parents are all smart they are investing in you future by giving you a business minded attitude from the beginning. I wish you all good luck just be careful and most of all have fun! Don't let every one push you around like some will kids too are able to accomplish great things.
