I have a question about stripping.

I see all of your pictures of striping, and my question is this; to strip, do you cut each strip the same length? or is it stripping the shank of the grass to get the strip? or is it pushing the grass over in one direction?

Exactly what is taking place here to achieve the strip result?

    Thank you,

It is light refracting off the grass blades due to a striping kit or other force laying it down in one direction.

Tim,the light reflecting off the blades creates something like an optical illusion. You mow in one direction and the grass bends in that direction, then you make a pass in the opposite direction, and the grass bends in the direction.Light reflecting off the bent blades creates the light and dark striping effect
