I was mowing today and using poor judgement got to close to a wet bank, and ended up sliding down it sideways out of control and really left some nasty ruts and tore the grass up behind me. The ruts are probably 6ft long by 2ft wide. There is just one also. The house is also going on the market this week as I have been doing some landscaping at the house. (flower beds, mulching). I promised the customer I would fix thier yard free of charge. My question is what are some things I can do to fix this problem quick and as cheap as possible, as the grass needs to be green by the end of the week.

Since you can't grow grass in a week sod is the only answer

2 rolls of sod, 1 bag of topsoil, 10 minutes.

Sod and make sure the ground is as level as possible upon completion of the job.

The top soil will be cheap but you will need to check with walker sod farm on their price for sod.
