i picked up a universal tractor key at home depot for $4, as i have equipment with different style keys, but most are the same, just go to the dealer and ask for a key $1 at most for the metal keyes. mine have a nice rubbber grip on them so it costs about $5/key, but i never take the key out of the machine.

and flat head screwdrivers do work.

old walkers use the indak key which also work in marray, snapper, etc. new walkers are all on a different style key which is walker universal. dont know about any other brands off hand.
