Damn! I missed this deal on eBay. This truck is just what I'm looking for, but I couldn't bid because my truck isn't sold yet. Bad timing I guess.
Figure about $500-600 on top of the final price for shipping. Still comes out to be better then anything I've been able to find in Truck Trader or local. A similar trucks (year, mileage, condition, etc.) seem to be in the $12K to $14K range.

Looks like a pretty nice truck. The price seems good, but not great. Should be able to find a similar truck for around the same money down here in Texas. Looking at an auto trader there's a '95 F150 extended cab 4X4, same engine as the one on ebay, loaded, excellent condition, with warranty remaining for $7000 obo. There are butt loads of F250's/350's also, but most of them are diesel and have extra cabs or 4 doors. Prices on them can range from about $6000 to about $12000, or a little higher.
Let me know exactly what you're looking for, and I'll check around down here.

Well, Hoping to find a 3/4 ton. I prefer Dodge or Ford, but open to others.
    4x4
    V8
    Gas or diesel doesn't matter.
Strongly prefer regular cab (may consider extended cab).
    8' bed a must.
    Auto or stick doesn't matter.
    Tow package.
    Prefer '95 or newer.
    Prefer under 100K miles.
    $10-12,000 range.

And hey if it already happens to have a plow and EZ Dump insert, all the better! (and then I'll go as high as $14,000).

But if it's out of state, I'd need to see alot of photos first (like in that ebay ad). Apprehensive about buying without seeing first.

I need to sell my truck first. Don't think my ebay ad is even going to hit my reserve. May have to put it in Truck Trader too.

Should be able to find something in those qualifications. I know of a 1 ton, single rear wheel, regular cab '92 Dodge in Michigan that has a snow plow with it already. It's a 5 speed, one owner and sounds real clean. Just over 100,000 miles I think, but it's a Cummins. I know that's a little older than you were looking for, but he was asking $7800, OBO if I remember correctly. Had a little rust over the rear wheels, but that's the only place it had any defects. I was considering it, but wanted a dually. I really like those one owners, and the '92/'93 Cummins is one of the best in my opinion. They don't have as much horsepower, but they can be turned up some, and are very durable. For the price difference, you could fix the bed, or put a new one on, and still come out money ahead.

On Ebay a guy just bought a '92 Dodge 1 ton 4WD diesel dually dump with a snow plow and salter. The guy selling it said it had 59,000 original miles. The truck looked fairly clean from the pictures. It sold for just over $8,500.

That's one I would have like to have seen. I have a friend that is selling a '93 Dodge/Cummins 4X4 Dually, with a 9' PTO dump on it. It has an under bed tool box, and saddle tank with an electric pump on it for filling equipment, mounted to the frame. It's a nice truck, but he wants around $10,500 for it.

Looks good, but something doesn't quite jive on it. For one thing, the Cummins is a straight 6, not V6. For another, the trucks came with a 5 speed manual, or a 4 speed auto, but not a 4 speed manual. Something about the way it sits, in the side view picture, doesn't quite look right either. Might be honest errors, and it might be a nice truck, but I'd want to look it over closely before buying.
The one my friend has needs a little attention, like paint on the hood (faded), and the bed cleaned up, but with that would be a real nice truck.

Unfortunately, I doubt that I could get away with a true dump truck sitting in my driveway.
That's why I need a pick up with a dump insert. I don't think I'd have any problems with that from neighbors or township.

    Thanks anyway guys.

My wife keeps telling me that we are one more good deal away from the poor house. Whatever does she mean?
