OK Guys I need to get me a Mini Skid for my hardscape jobs.

Heres what I got, I need one that I can track up and down steep hills and that can move 400lb stones.

Any help would be great thanks

I have been toiling about this as well. If I had a dealer close by, I would probably go with the Ditch Witch sk650. It has a great diesel engine, and seems to have more lift capacity and lift height then any other. I am always concerned about dumping into my dump trucks with the mini skids. I know some guys get by with it, but it is hard to imagine they have the lift height and reach to dump over 6 foot sides of a dump truck.

the sk 650 is defiantly the way to go in this situation. they are tanks on hills and we regularly move 600 lbs rocks w/ ours

Look into Boxer as well. What dealers are close to you?

One of the best things about a Ditch Witch is that you rarely ever need to see your dealer after you buy them. You pay a premium for them, but they are tanks and need very little repair time.
