    Calculating up pavers I need for a walk and patio........."I" pattern.

    So we've got 6x6's and 6x9's.....with a 6x9 soldier row/border

    Is there a way any of you have for figuring this or what? And for other patterns as well......Walk will be 60'x4' and a small patio filling in under a deck with lots of nice posts to cut around thats about a 13'x13'.

    approximately 180lf of 6x9 border is roughly 150sf of 6x9

    for the field, approximately 275sf, of which about 210sf (75%) are 6x9 and 70sf (25%) are 6x6

    In all:

    6x9 = approx. 360sf
    6x6 = approx. 70sf

    75% for the rects
    25 for squares (I usually add a few extra for reasons too complicated to explain in text, just to cover my backside)

    (This is for the field)
