Its a 6ft wide 12 ft long heavy duty gate with lift assist spring on each side.
Picked it up used for $500.

The 2 tail gate springs look to be built on when the trailer was new.
There just a spring like some on here use. But they work.
I will get closeup pics of them later and see if anyone can figure them out.

You got a deal brother... I would much rather have an older trailer than a newer one. I paid $1000 for my 6x12 and one year later virtually every weld on the thing is broken. I had to spend a few hundred getting everything reinforced. It was one of those tube frame that "supposed" to be stronger... I would trade it anyday for a good heavy duty angle iron trailer like yours.

These little trailers are so nice to have... just pick up and put it on the ball... great for miscellaneous work or residential mowing.

They did a great job of building this trailer.
Also I have 24"x24"x6ft rack for the front of it also.

Here's a few shots of how the gate springs are attached to the trailer and gate.

Here is the bolt that holds it to the gate.

Here's the spring on the trailer.

The spring does not touch the trailer or gate anywhere. Its mounted outboard of the frame.
But If I can work it out. I will have this one mounted on it. I like this one off the board best.
