I purchased a recondition Hoda 6.5hp 3 speed 21" mower, an echo blower, chainsaw, and trimmer. I purchased a couple trash cans as well, oil and other small items. What should I do next? Any help would be appricated.

I see in your sig it says you use 21" Toro's and handhelds? So you don't buy the expensive commercial items? Here's what I planned on doing next. I wanted to save up for a couple months so I can purchase a trailer. In th meantime I'd order some business cards and get them out everywhere I could. How exactly do I estimate how much to charge for a property? Is there a "template" or something of that nature tat could help me? I don't want to under bid and lose money.

Matt’s Lawn Care price key (mowing)

    1/8 acre= 5,445 square feet
    ¼ acre= 10,890 square feet
    3/8 acre= 16,335 square feet
    ½ acre= 21,780 square feet
    5/8 acre= 27,225 square feet
    ¾ acre= 32,670 square feet
    7/8 acre= 38,115 square feet
    1 acre= 43,560 square feet

    1/8 acre: $30
    1/4 acre: $35
    3/8 acre: $40
    1/2 acre: $45
    5/8 acre: $50
    3/4 acre: $55
    7/8 acre: $60
    1 acre: $65
Over 1 acre: $65 per acre + $20 for each additional acre
Example:3 acre lawn would cost $105.

This is what i base my price on. This is my lowest price and i add for lots of trimming, hills ect.

250 free business cards at vistaprint.com . you pay shipping. upgrades are extra too. i use them. great promotions! in the fall of 06 i sent personalized post cards to all customers. the response was well worth the $15 dollars invested. my first yr i used the free cards without upgrades and the cost was no more than 5 bucks for shipping. dont upgrade shipping either because standard shipping only takes around a week.

Thanks for the info. I will check out that website asap. Also, when is it too early to mow? It's still pretty cold right now, and there is frost on the ground in the morning. What do you guys do when its really cold and the grass is dormant?
