I filed for Social Security retirement on line. They have a clicky where you choose, "retire & stop work" or "retire & continue to work". Heck! I'm going back to work today, on my B' day. It ain't just that I can earn a wad of cash today, I like being out there. Doing something I like doing (most of the time). This is a heads up for you guys who'll be looking at a retirement age somewhere in your 70's. There's not really a penalty for retiring early. Sure you get less money per month, but you get it for more months. It averages out. Depending on how long you live. You guys out there smoking, drinking & not excersizing had better retire right now. One thing I've learned is; Work is NOT exercise! Work is repetive motions that'll wear out body parts. Exercise will flex your body and keep it supple. Those guys that'd rather "just sit on the mower and mow" will find themselves sitting on something from the Scooter Store in the future. You've got to get off that mower. Trim those shrubs, lay that mulch, weed those beds. This is probably the best job for keeping fit. It don't need to be labor intensive drugery. Mix it up. Enjoy it. I do.
