This is where I am starting..... I have been mowing lawns for a while now, but I stumbled on a huge contract (clean-up and landscape) so I want to be able to say I am certified/licensed for the bid coming up in a matter of months. I live in Florida.

What do I need to do? What different licenses are there, and what agencies give them out?

    Thanks.

file for your fictitious name with the state: www.sunbiz.org. then go to your local tax collector's office for the license.
