I want to convey a professional image. I want my customers to respect my quality. I want them to be confident in my efforts to be safe and curtious. If people see a huge hulking orange machine on my trailer or job that says BAD BOY with a huge bulldog, what will their first thought be. Remember what their banner said at expo? "Mower with attitude." or something like that. In my opinion, you might as well let your employees mow shirtless w/bandanas and beards. I never want to be a bad boy with an attitude. If you must have the mower, paint over the logo.

I agree. I've only seen pics of them but the first thing that came to my mind was that they didn't look professional.

Not one of my customers complain.
As a matter of fact they are really quite impressed when they see what a great cut the machine produces and often ask where they can get one. You quite obviously have nothing else to think about.

Is basing a purchase decision on a manufacturers logo conveying a professional image?

I don't want to be critical, and if they work for you, great! However how many of you would give your co. a name and slogan like this

why they dont make them anymore.

SCAG? Isnt that some kind of drug?

    Turf Tiger sounds agressive.

    Exmark?

Lazer? Man some people lost eyes with those things.

Super Z, Lazer Z? Sounds too much like zipper IMHO.
