These two weed types and a few more clumps of dallis grass are keeping me from weed free.

The broadleaf weed is only about 3-4'' tall and creeps along the ground. Have seen no flowers on either weed so war. Growth shown is 7 days.

Just took over this account in the spring.

    Thanks for your help!

The broadleaf looks like lespedeza. Not sure about the grassy weed, have you seen any seedheads?

Looks like broomsedge. If it is there is not much to control it short of applying gly or pulling it out with your hands.

First one is Broomsedge. However, herbicides that control sedges won't touch this. I don't think its actually a sedge. MSMA will kill it. So will Glyphosate. Your only other option is to dig it.

Second one is Lespedeza. Metsulfuron will kill it nicely.

What is the active ingredient in Metsulfuron?

Are you guys still using the MSMA you have on hand? I have just under 5 gallons on hand. If others are using it, which rate do you recommend?

1 oz/1000 ft sq for the MSMA. It may take 2 apps 7-10 days apart. I would spot treat where I was able and blanket only what I had to...

Metsulfuron Methyl is the active ingredient in Manor, Mansion or MSM Turf
