ID in new grass

    this came up with a blend of lesco's turf type tall fescue. is it just a different type of fescue that will go away with the summer heat? is it here to stay and needs round up and reseed? bunchy and grows quicker than the TTTF.

    Did you or theyuse wheat straw as a mulch? Looks like wheat to me which will die off on it own.

    no straw. he aerated/overseeded and used no mulch or straw. i don't think it is rescue. it is more upright growth, but in bunches. i didn't see any seed heads.

    If the auricles are clasping the stem, it's probably quackgrass.

    definitely not quackgrass. no rhizomes.
