ID this GRASS that is a weed in a KBG lawn....?

    Client says it is noticeably more yellow than surrounding KBG based turf. He actually digs it out and replaces with sod. That seems like a ton of work.

    I can go back this week and pull some up with roots if this helps ID this. Should have done that today...

    I would say the same. Your customer can stop digging the stuff out and get out the Drive XLR8 and fry that crap.
    By the way how are you getting crabgrass already?

    Exactly! He is in zone 5B. I think he is from Idaho. Yet I am in Central Arkansas (zone 7) where Crabgrass is just now at the 2 leaf stage in thin areas on southern facing slopes.

    I don't know what it is but I am 99.9% sure it isn't crabgrass unless those pics were taken last summer...
