ID this grass

    Here is a grass that is very thin and sparse in a park near me, it's more of a thread than a blade. It's in minnesota and looks like it is growing very slow.

    fine fescue is what it looks like from here.

    Does it grow in clumps? Does it brown out quickly when its dry? If so - fine fescue...

    this is from a park and its been a drought here but this park is very green still, they dont water either. But I do have a lot of lawns that have areas that go brown faster than others usually toward the end of the season I just thought it was some sort of annual grass or a warmer zone grass but maybe it's fine fescue these ppl have.
