    2003 Kawasaki FH601V DS-08

it's on my small Cub Cadet Tank. Time for a power upgrade. Anybody got the resource to look up the shaft size & length?

I can find that the FH601V DS-09 is a 1" by 3" 5/32"...... But I can't tell if my DS-08 is the same. The websites are maddening.....

Easiest way is to measure it. Your local Kawasaki dealer could look up the proper replacement engine and shaft size.

local dealer can get replacement engine. Yes he can. He can also smoke my wallet. You are in the same biz..... I have a line on another motor and am trying to get by with a do it myself swap. You know what I got to do to measure the shaft length? I got to dang near take the motor off to do it. Would rather not have the downtime. Making sure that my new motor and old are same shaft size is how I can prevent that.

I didnt say to buy a new engine from your dealer. I said he could look it up for you.
