What kind of grass do I have here? It has the perfect environment, unlike the rest of this 2 acre lawn of mine. It stripes incredible, is always green during spring summer and most of fall. It is under the correct amount of shade and doesn't have a whole lot of moisture most of the time. I want to plant the rest of the yard in this stuff if you guys could tell me how? What kind of grass is it? Oh yea, it's cut at 3" in this picture. I could cut the rest of the lawn higher if needed since it's not shaded as well. Thanks,
    Eric

The stripes look better than the pictures... this is a real lousy excuse for a digital camera....here's the blades themselves if you can see them enough to tell me what it is. Thanks

It looks like ordinary creeping Red Fescue to me, which, incidentally, stripes incredibly well.
