I saw bits and pieces of suggestions in another thread here, but thought it would be cool to put it all together.Would you have stayed solo longer? Hired employees sooner? Never started mowing in the first place? Charged more? Took on more services?

Most interested in seeing what you're proven favorite equipment has been after much trial. If you had to start all over again (with mainly residential accounts) and could only buy one wb mower, blower, edger, trimmer, and trailer, what would you purchase?

I wish I had started my business 20 years sooner. I would be retired now if I had.

GOLF IS FOR PEOPLE who can't catch fish. what i would have done differently....i would have started at 18 yrs old. hired 2 employees. built up the lawn mowing end of it to about 100 mows a week. built up the pesticide/fert end as high as the sky. retired at 55 a multi millionair.

If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't get caught opening safes again. Took a few years out of my life but the behind bars times was a lesson most young people could use today.

Lesson learned. Three people can keep a secret if two are dead.
