I decided to look at my blades and see if mine need sharpening. Since I was not sure I figured I would post a few photos and see if you guys think it's time I sharpen my blades.

What ya think??? What should I do??

With all the curves, I cant imagine why you wouldn't want to sharpen every day.:) I like straight, flat blades and my R.B.G

Ray, interesting what you've done with the lift, is that for aerodynamic reasons? Also try moving blade 3 to blade 1's position and these should last you another year or so.

To answer, your question about sharpening....thats what the sand you cutting is for.

I'm thinking that since these things seem to knife-edge on the rear and dull in the front, if somebody would design a reversible blade. . . we could just turn 'em over every day or two!

When those lift tabs finally break off the should exit the side discharge at an incredible rate, enough to down a duck or goose anyways! Watch out kiddies:blob1: :blob4:

Those are compressed photos and quality is lost, you wouldn't want me to post the uncompressed versions, that would be unfair to the dial-up folks.

Mr. Jones is correct, these babies are sharp on the back side. My dealer had these at the shop today while they are mounting my hitch, I figured everyone would enjoy them. The large blade is from a "Pro's" mower.
