I have been landscaping for years, but have never sodded this late. I have a sodding job scheduled for October 14th. That should not be a problem right? I have heard of guys sodding over frozen soil.

Anyone see any problems with this?

No Problem this time of year. Better still, ground will not dry out so fast and will not require so much water. I'm putting down a pallet of St. Augustine on Wednesday. I've even filled in spots in November and it did better than the surrounding grass. Add a little potassium for a winterizer.

Yes we laid a semi load yesterday. The boss was sneaky and told us he needed a hoe operator for a few hours in the morning . Early fall is a great time for sod and seeding. By the way anyone know why I'm allergic to sod but not grass?
