Hope everyone is having a busy install season. I'm already looking forward to takedowns!!!

Been having serious issues this year with in-line female connectors. The pierce points are not making good contact through the insulation resulting in numerous headaches and decreased efficiency. I would estimate roughly 25% of the connections are failing. Can anyone recommend another connector? Or am I the only one using these?

They now make slide plug connectors for mid point connections. In the past you could just modify the female plugs and make them into mid point connectors. Plus they are green.

Use basic female. Connector and bend off end with needle nose pliers. Its a veteran move. Now some come pre cut to bend off.
