I have been working for a landscaping company for 4 years now so I know a good amount about hardscaping and all that but what I don't know is how to build an in-ground fire pit. I can't find any pictures on the web but what I want it to look like is: dug down about 12"-15", use 8" rocks and cement them into the walls. The top should be level with the patio other than some of the rocks peeking up over the top by 1-2".

What is the best way to go about installing this? I have never worked with cement/concrete. If you need any other info just ask :)
