insecticide liquid or granular

    what form is everyone applying their insecticides. Whats the product everyone using, have always used merit, but mach 2 and crosscheck seem popular also.

    ya ur prolly right, just trying to gain as much info as possible regarding liquid lawn apps and how to save a little money while creating an exceptional outcome. Any advice is appreciated. thanx again

    These are very broad questions.
    You're not providing enough information.

    What type of insects are you generally targeting; surface feeding, thatch inhabiting, and / or root feeding ?

    Do you practice 'IPM' :) when you diagnose and treat suspected turf insect problems?
    Or do you just "CYA":laugh:, and 'blanket spray' the whole place ?!?

    just have put down an app of merit granular down in late june in the past. First yr. with liquid. real sandy soils, seems to me blanket sprays are a little costly.

    When applying merit it doesn't matter if you go liqued or granuler, they both need the same amount of moisture to activate.
