Just wondering how easy is it to install a dump insert in a 05 f-350. Any drilling or just bolt in. The dealer wants $200 for install, and I though if it's just bolts and one wire to the battery I'd do it myself.

$200 sounds like a fair deal to me. I know converting my flatbed to a dump was a major major pain(for the body shop).

$200 is a fair price. Saves you from cussing it out. Yea its a four bolts but you have to have the right placement, If the factory bolts are frozen in then your screwed, and you have to make sure it is bolted into the frame not just the bed. One stuck load and a few times jerking it out and your dump bed will be on the ground. Let them do it, its a writeoff anyways.
