I am fairly new, I am aware that no one can give me a quote, but could someone give me something general as to how much I should expect to spend? I have 1 truck/trailer crew. I know about workers comp. I just need an idea on general liability and commercial vehicle(97 chevy 2wd). Any idea would help to let me know what im in for.

Heh, call an insurance company and get a quote! I suppose anyone could guess, but it depends on what you are looking for. Example, if you are a small co., I would not recommend getting a $2mil. policy.

We work in Rhode Island just received new commercial policy for $600.000 liability is $875 per year. Workers Comp. is $5.32 per hundred pay roll. Trucks ins. for a 87 f350 dump and a 2001 f250 diesel is 2250 per year. Hopes this helps

I just got a quote for G/L from several local companies.

(Numbers may be off a bit since I am pulling the m from my memory)
    300k $224
    500k $257
    1mil $289

If I recall there was a $1000 tool coverage that I could increase for $10 per $1000 coverage.

One company came in very close, I believe around $75 more per policy. Yet another company was at least $200 more per policy.

One of them offered a break on the commercial auto insurance if I went with them however I didn't have the VIN# handy so I couldn't get a quote for the truck.
