I am planning on starting a small venture next year. One person (myself) and basic equipment concentrating on lawns. I am looking for the cost of insurance and would like suggestions for companies to search for as well as an idea for prices I should expect to pay. Again, equipment would be basic for a one-person venture.

    Thank you.

Best thing for you to do is call an indepedant insurance agent. They will go over the various types of coverages... (Gl, Auto, Wc, Health, Inland Marine, etc...) and then give you some prices based on various underwriting information you provide them...

I wouldn't tell them you are not going to get started for 6months though...or they will all blow you off...

    Hope this helps ya
