I would like a little help from the PRO's when it comes to liabilty insurance. How much insurance to get and who would be a good company to get it from. And I would like to get a general idea of how much the premium would be Thanks guys

I have 1 million worth of liability for about 550 a year. I don't know the details, my wife handles that stuff.

$1 million = $660/year. 1 rock thru kid's eye; priceless. Higher limit gets you better lawyers. Then make sure you don't use it.

There are three basic items that factor into the premiums
    1. Gross Income
    2. Number of Employees
    3. Amount of Coverage

A solo lco making less then 50K and wanting 1 mil in coverage could expect to pay between $300 to $500.
Shop around for the best rates available, I found that there is alot of variation between providers.

Don't get less than the 1 mil occurance/2 mil total. Its kind of a standard, but you will find some that are less, like for 500k.

You will find the 1 mil policy to be the minimum for some kinds of commercial, city, and gov accounts. The difference in the policy price is minor.

Also, these days, when it comes to liability, 500K isn't that much.

i pay 880 a year for half a mill. including tree work and snow plowing as long as they don't exceed my lawn and landscape gross and this price covers my mowers and any tools under 2500 bucks should they get stolen or damaged with a 250 dollar deductible.
