I gave an interesting estimate today. The client had hemlock trees against the back of his house(in mid GA) and wanted to irrigate them. I guess hemlock are more prune to northern climates and he thinks they need to be cooled off w/ mist on the crowns. He wants the line piped to the top of the tree and then have a fine mist. Is there any type of nozzle that will have a finer mist than others... I know on most applications mist is a negative thing... too bad the guy doesn't have 150lbs of pressure.

A nozzle that might work well is the 2SST by Toro, designed for a 2x6 strip. Like their 5-foot-radius nozzles, it's designed to work with two strainers - the standard fine plastic strainer, plus an extra-fine stainless screen. Skip the extra-fine screen, and the nozzle will probably clog.
