Interesting Truck Pic

    Well guys, i was driving yesterday when i turned my head to see this truck. while it looks neat i personally think its a wast of $$, y not just get a 1 or 3/4 ton truck???? wat do u all think? lol

    6x6 on the side of the bed, I bet one axle just coast.

    It's neat..I mean I wouldn't do it, but it's neat. I'd like to see it close up to see how well it was done...

    Its not a new mod. I saw one at a show about 10 years ago. The front diff was a pass through driving it and a stubby driveshaft to the other diff. So yes it technically would be 6x6.

    There was a guy that used to have a business and website taking trucks and turning them into the 6x6 trucks. He did quite a number of them and seemed to do quite a nice job. There are a few videos on youtube of that guy's work.

    They definately weren't popular, but they are out there.

    There was a Ford ranger around here that had dual axles and had a aluminum Landscape bed on it.
