Interlocing edging stones

    What are the machines that dig the trench and lay the edging stones called?
    How do they work? simple? Can you rent these machines? What are there cost?

    Well personally I have never seen a machine that lays edging STONES...However I have seen and used a company called kwik kerb and their deal is continuous edging, they trench and then its basically just a concrete pumping machine that is self propelled and grouts out a stamped pattern mortar mix.

    Myself I am not a huge fan of the stuff, though I do see its appeal in some applications. The one thing I do like is that they have done their research, the mortars and mixes they use contain some hydraulic limes to allow for flexibility over time and they make cuts as they go.
