Intersting Sales Call

    I had a company call me the other night, it's a newer company in the area ask if I would like a free lawn quote I said sure, he ask if I had any others yet I said Trugreen was out the other day, And he said right away that they are usually anywhere from a $2.00 to $ 6.00 dollars higher than trugreen. I asked why was that ? He said due to the fact they they believe in taken care of my yard than actual meeting numbers for that day. LIke alot of the larger companies. He said, They will take a more personal approach in treating my lawn, Sometimes inbetween applications you might see a techinican walking your property just to check on its growth, or to see any potential problems, as well when we are they to treat your lawn. He said someother things as well.

    I thought it was a new approach sounded good

    It sounds like the ipm approach. I also like that he mentioned more of a personal service.

    I am about to brach off into the chem. app. end of this business and have great concerns about competing with the larger companies.

    It sounds like IPM... or just another sales pitch. Color me cynical.
