I don't regularly get out of the truck while spreading oil, let alone to take pics. Tonight I went along with dad to help him handspray the curbing. So, I took a few action shots of a parking lot being primed, prior to asphalt tomorrow.

Just one picture tonight. We're trying to wrap up a bid job for some ditching in a local small town. Resetting, replacing, and removing culverts. Going slower than I estimated, but I'm still trying to learn my new laser and receiver. My worst % of fall in the the flow line was less than .2%. :dizzy:

It's used as a primer to aid in a better application of hotmix.

That's interesting, thanks for sharing those pictures.

You have a lot of mowing to do yet?

I should add that while this used to be common practice for new construction, it's very cost prohibitive and we really only do this for government entities nowadays. It's still recommended but generally opted out to save cash.

Stuve- Yes I've got a fair amount of brushing to do and I haven't started yet.

Tonight a little before and after of a ditch I cut for the little town I'm working for. Not what I would have done but I'm not the one cutting the checks. Almost .4% fall on this one, the best so far. I think that the ditch is bigger than the alley it borders.
