Need to have an irrigation pump installed on the dock. Which is better: Berkeley pump or Flint & Walling pump?

you don't want a pump on a dock - set it a few feet inland

    National or Gorman-Rupp pump.

Set it inland, not on the dock.

Okay, thanks. Which brand irrigation pump is recommended: Berkeley or Flint & Walling?

Those are not the only two choices, but our neighbor has F&W and recommended it, and the installer recommended Berkeley. Is another brand better?

Berkeley is part of the Pentair conglomerate, so the name now gets swapped around different products. Flint&Walling is also a piece of a larger corporation, but no funny stuff with brand names there.

I have good success with Goulds jet pumps.
