I installed a new RS1000 to my Pro-C and when it rains I get the Red light on the signal indicator but my system still comes on. I read the manual 5 times and have it installed right (I think) and programmed per the manual. 2 red wires to pwr (AC) BRN and WHT to SEN. Hold down button on receiver for 15 seconds.

    Am I missing something....................?

Did you remove the link between the 2 sensor terminals?

I took a look at one yesterday on a SRC and had to move the wire from the sen to the com for it to work properly

The link must be removed for the sensor to be able to break the common wire, when the sender tells the reciever it is raining. Its an easy mistake to make!

  10. At least you came back and told us what happened. I can respect that. What annoys me are the DAs that we help who don't come back and tell us what happened.
