I wouldn't mind a cordless but I want to make sure I got the power. There is quite difference in price to.

    What brand did you have?

Dewalt has always been out of my price range but Canadian Tire has one for $200 (Save $130:dizzy: ) But Rona has, I think it's a Rona brand for $119. These are cordless.

The electric is half price at $74 and it's MasterCraft and it's half inch the other are 1/4".

I have a ridgid 1/4 inch and its a tank. I have an adapter and it takes blades off no problem. If you have a princess auto near you (ontario) then they got good deals on 1/2 inch.

    Cheers

Snap-On makes an excellent 1/2" cordless impact.

Princess auto why didn't I think of that? I have their catalog downloaded already. $50 for an electric 1/2" impact. That's good enough for a starter.

    Thanks.
