Today I talked to a bad boy dealer, he told me that they had just been voted the best mower on the market. He also said that Dixie Chopper tried to buy 850 of bad boys 52" cut mower to be labeled with the dixie name. Now I just had a run in with a gravely rep. recently, and now I here this from a bad boy dealer. Is there any truth to what he is saying?

  2. Why would DC buy a Bad Boy when they make thier own 50" mower?

    Anything can be voted "best".

It's who is doing the voting that makes the difference.

BTW you are voted best poster.

Thank You for the vote lgf!

I am amazed at all the crap that you here from some of these salesman. I could not understand why dixie who is suppose to be a major player in the commercial market would want to or need to buy from another manufacture.

  4. A line of BS. it was a sales pitch that went wrong

ALso the BB drive system is nothing like DC's.

Art wouldn't touch that with a 10' pole.

Ok I have to ask why Dixie would not use the drive system that Bad Boy uses?

  6. Completely different set up.

    BB is spongy.

It is the opposite of DC's.

Two completely different mowers, different leauges.

How can the Bad Boy be voted best mower, when most people have never even heard of them. I don't know of any dealers in my area. They just aren't too popular yet to be voted best mower.

D.C. is launching a new line of mowers that is aimed at the top end of the homeowner market. They have a lot of different features than the commercial line of D.C.'s that we are used to seeing. It is possible that D.C. did not want to tool up to produce that line and tried to work a deal with Bad Boy to supply the mowers for this new line. I think D.C. calls them "Silver Eagle", or something like that.:)
