I'm really happy with the amount of work I'm getting. Not saying I have 70 hours of work per week in sealing but still a fair amount of work to keep my labor busy. I get calls everyday for estimates on sealing.

I see that new guy in town that's been around for 2 years, he just purchased a new trailer. I see it park all the time in his driveway! lol hes for sure not busy.

I'm pretty much the only sealing guy you will see in my town doing jobs everywhere.

BlackMac. I'm doing residential driveways (800-1000sq/f) on the weekends, usually I get 20 in a good weekend. In the weekdays, the phone call keeps me busy, usually bigger jobs, where I seal at least a 5000sq/f+ per day.

you sure were not kidding about being busy, thats great. i was thinking about switching to sealmaster spraying equipment and e-z stir sealant with sand.have you any opinions on sealmaster? price of equipment seems high to me!

I have no clue, seal masters just came to Canada like last year!

I know that I am saving my money to eventually buy a seal-rite trailer, to switch to coal tar or AE, since black mac will eventually be banned in Canada (They have been saying that since early 2000 lol)

And ya the equipment is pretty expansive, but the guy on the phone for seal masters told me his "highest grade sealant, commercial sealant" was like .80cents/liters + taxes, where black mac is 2.03/liters with taxes.

So yes the equipment is more expansive but the advantage is:

-Overhead of the sealer just went down by a lot
-More sealer, the smallest trailer of seal rite is like 500gallons I think.
-Better equipment, can do bigger jobs faster.
