Is everyone you meet an asset?

    Have you ever considered that every person that you meet is an asset in some way. I guess you could call these people your contacts? Does anyone feel this way?

    I call them oppertunities. Each person is a possible contact to someone (maybe themselves) for business. i learned this in the car biz. We used to go out and get coffee or whatever and actually try to "prospect".

    It's the same concept. You should assume everyone is a possible link to business.

    Everyone I meet is an opportunity. Some are a financial opportunity for my company because they will lead to a prosperous business venture. Others are a financial opportunity for the Preperation H company because they are a Pain In My A$$!

    jcr17, I think the word you are looking for is "networking".

    A good book on the subject is by Harvey Mackay "Swim with the Sharks".
