No one has even spoken about square footage.

$20.00 could take no more than 20 minutes from gate to gate.

    That's 60/hr.

At 10 minutes from gate to gate that's $120/hr.

People focus on gross too much to even realize things like that…

Oh no $20 is too cheap!

Too cheap for what? a Lawn the size of two standard parking spaces??

Like I said before, if $20 makes him profit on little patches of townhouse grass fine. This is a forum though, if someone starts a thread that says lawns for $20, your going to get a lot of responses based just on that number because nobody wants to go through and read all seven pages of replies. And by the way, for some $60/hr is great money and to others it can be only a third of what they have to make. Everybody has different overhead expenses and therefore different price points.

I have one that has two perfect strips of Zoysia in the front in a perfect square and no back yard (It's a huge pool, party deck, etc.), 20 minutes gate to gate. He pays $200.00 a month, $50.00 a trip.

Now I can understand $20.00's in small town home lots (under one condition.) That is that your doing every yard on the street, not having to load/unload equipment, and not driving from location a to location b. But how do you go about this? When you advertise to a town home community (I know I have) the calls don't come from yard to yard next door to each other. They come a few spread out here, and few spread out here, and a few spread out on the other side of the neighborhood. $20.00 might sound appealing, but remember there's a bunch of people out there that like to do their own lawn work without having to pay someone, especially in these town homes when it isn't hard for them to maintain. One of my town-homes I make that lot look Super-B, yet I haven't picked up any of the neighbors because their lawns are all so small all the neighbors mow their own, they even pull out their black and decker edgers and ryobi blowers.

Yea 20 is too low for most lens. The townhouse is fine for 20. Takes 18 minutes 1k to 3k sq ft. . Thanks for everyone's input.

Ok. I'd love to have 5 acres to mow, mowing is what I like most about landscaping. Unfortunately for us, we have mostly acres of bushes to hedge and grounds to blow out.
