Is it OK to mix synthetic??

    I have a quart of synthetic oil but i need 1.3 quarts for each oil change in my mower. is it ok to add .3 quart of normal 10W30 to the quart of synthetic?

    I wish I could answer that one. Its over my molecular noggn' :dizzy: If I had a W.A.G. I would say no.

    If it is Amsoil, you will be fine. All Amsoil is compatible with conventional oil. I cannot speak for other brands however. Just remember, regardless of the brand, you are sacraficing some benefits by mixing them.

    Go to toro.com, golf course maint., customer care, service bulletins, general topics, and read #01-09 use of nonrecomended hydraulic oil, you may want to change your mind about useing synthetic oil.
