Is it worth it?

    Here's a classified in our paper.....

    48'' Lesco Commercial walk-behind mower w/17hp Kawasaki, 5 spd., Peerless trans. $1700 Value/1st $1100 takes it


    Any thoughts and or reservations?

    Seems like it might be okay, but it would depend on the model year, hours and service records. For me to buy it at that price compared to the new price (I have seen that mower sale new for $1650-$1850) it would have to probably be no more than 1 year old and very few hours or I would just buy new.

    Ok it's a 97' Model w/ approx 200 hrs. in good shape.

    He's down to $850 and getting more desperate by the day. I can probably pick er' up for 8 hundy......good deal?

    It'd probably be worth the $850 but I'd tell him hey look it is already 7 years old and offer him $650 and see where that goes :)
