Snapper makes the RER with three decks: 28", 30" and 33". The 28" and 33" and the super vacuum decks that are without peer in how they vacuum the lawm. The 30" picks up good, just not in the league of the 28" and 33" deck.

Now, all Snapper RER are build like iron. You will probably tire of it before you wear it out. And if the engines goes, a repower is very easy. The drive disc system is simply and effective and seems to handle all but the most demanding situations.

The bad? It "snowplows" like crazy with the small front tires and has a larger turning radius than you first think.

Final analysis. If you have driven no other lawn tractor and want a rider, this will do the job. On a budget and need a rider, this will do the job. I'd give it a C-, or an B+ with price factored in.

The 30" had a floating deck, the 28" did not have. You d'nt think the 30" give a nice cut than 28" ? Regard.
