    You may be right--they are sorta built like toys!:)

    Just had to say that--don't really have anything against Stihl--not much experience with them!

    Not sure where you got your facts from, but as others have metioned, Stihl opened up a manufacturing plant in Virginia back in the '70's, so the products sold in the U.S. haven't been made in Germany for a long time. Stihl also opened a manufacturing plant in China in 2008, so there's a good possibility that some of their products are made in China.

    I bought all my equipment online, when my equipment was shipped, it had a bunch of funny looking pictures on the crates. I can't figure out what they mean though. Anybody know chinese? 便宜的漢語敲
