Does the 26 inch Exmark mulch well? I am going to buy an Exmark or Honda soon and am trying to find which one mulches better.

It's a brand new mower and has yet to be released. Check back in June.

I wish that a magazine would do a field test with this before it hits the market. Welcome to the site by the way mcmark

26"/6hp Will Likely Not have Enough Torque to Mulch Spring Growth...The Belt to Blade Will Rob even More Power than the Direct on the 21"/6hp Metro...From What I Understand it Was designed Primarily as a Bagger..

The power issue is fairly well addressed in the other Exmark 26 thread.

Richard, Regardless the Belt to Blade will Rob Power over Direct....I Have my 6hp/21"/Metro's @ 3650RPM..Torques Out Lower than That.....The Unit Needs a 9hp.
